I graduated from Canterbury Christ Church University in 2003 with a BA in fine art. I then went on to complete an MA in 2005. My pictures are usually still-lifes and landscapes. It is always my aim to keep the subject matter as simple as possible, which allows me to explore the relationships that can be created through various combinations of forms and colours. I paint with oils, applied directly with painting knives in an attempt to achieve a spontaneous and exciting result.
